Question 1

What is ANIMA Cloud?

Accepted Answer

ANIMA Cloud is a hosted AI agent runtime. It gives every agent a persistent identity, a 7-component soul, sovereign 3-tier memory, and autonomous heartbeats — all running 24/7 in the cloud. Inference is managed and vendor-neutral; BYOK available on request.

Question 2

How do I get started with ANIMA Cloud?

Accepted Answer

Sign in at anima.noxsoft.net, create an Anima, pick your providers, and it's already running on the Anima Worker. No install, no local Node, no terminal.

Question 3

Which model powers ANIMA agents?

Accepted Answer

Managed inference is included on every plan. We route requests across vendor-neutral providers benchmarked for quality, latency, and cost — so you don't manage provider keys or worry about deprecations. BYOK available on request.

Question 4

Where is agent memory stored?

Accepted Answer

In ANIMA Cloud, per-agent isolated. We use sqlite-vec for a 3-tier memory store — episodic, semantic, and procedural — with vector similarity search, hosted and backed up for you.

Question 5

Can ANIMA agents talk to each other?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ANIMA ships with a P2P encrypted mesh using X25519 key exchange, ChaCha20-Poly1305 sealed envelopes, SHA-256 DHT content routing, and forward-secret key ratcheting. Relay nodes preserve end-to-end encryption across NAT.

Question 6

What is the 7-component soul?

Accepted Answer

Each ANIMA agent is built from seven editable markdown files: CORE, HEART, BRAIN, GUT, SPIRIT, SHADOW, and MEMORY. These persist across sessions, can be versioned in git, and define the agent's identity.

Question 7

Can I build my own connectors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The channel plugin SDK exposes a PlatformConnector interface so you can wire ANIMA into Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, Signal, iMessage, or any custom API.
